Sad to say: There are a lot of junky free software programs available for websites. There are also some commonly used software packages a lot of website designers use that can drag down a visitor's opinion of a site (which can adversely affect their perception of how you do business).

In a lot of cases - there is no free or commercial software available to solve a specific website need.

If that is your problem - I can produce it in-house.

My current focus is using PHP/MySQL for website programming. If you are unfamiliar with those terms, substitute the phrase: "latest and greatest."

• File distribution system (with online Administration) as used on the HirschGraphics.com website (now available to all CDMCSS.com clients)

All custom programming is a special order service that cannot be described in any rational detail except to say that newly created custom programmed systems start at $75 (a simple program).

Included with all custom programming (even the $75 versions):

• Creation of Word/WordPerfect compatible forms (optional, depending on needs).
• Automated email to site administrators, confirmations to visitors or both.
• Online Administrative facilities. At a minimum this includes:
  • Data maintenance (Add/Change/Delete).
  • Simple reporting of all information on file
  • Integrated Help functions
  • Page Content Management System functionality (standard; no additional charge).
  • "Fall back" plain-text data entry.
• Display component(s) - shows information to visitors through web pages; varies, depending on requirements. (Techie talk: No SSI's required, but can be used, if available.)
• Functionality created to your specifications.
