Here is a general overview
of the website solutions I provide through CDMCSS.com that
fulfill critical website needs and created to reach the same
goal:
Allow
owners to update the text and images on their own websites
without third-party assistance.
CDMCSS.com solutions
fall into 4 general categories:
- Enabling owners to make
updates to their own websites - And to forestall
(maybe) more emails, yes, that means exactly what
it implies...

-
Custom
CDMCSS.com solutions - Over the years, I have
accumulated a lot of software to fulfill
specific goals and needs of my clients. Things like
online article publication (with photos), offering
discount coupons, managing links and a lot of others are
available - right now... More...
-
Third-party
software customization and installation - Not for
every software package in the world - only the ones I
customize. Shopping
carts, forums, wikis, blogs... The difference? They
are integrated into the design of the website; not
presented a stand-alone process... More...
- Custom software - A
lot of times you can find freebie software to do things
on a website. Some are good and (not to put too fine a
point on it) a lot of them are more of a liability than
an asset. In some
cases, there isn't an existing program to do a
certain task. If that's your problem, I can create it in-house to your
specifications... More...
What solutions might be
appropriate
for any website depend on its nature, of course. My trying to
provide an exhaustive commentary on what I can do
for any given client is also pretty stupid. (You wouldn't read it
and I'd still have to maintain it... Still, some generic ideas
are described on this page).
The point being is that after
15+ years in the business, the one thing I know clients
hate to hear is the phrase: No, you can't do that
yourself...*
It's your website.
Why not?
If you have a problem or
issue relating to your website or have been told No, you
can't... so many times you are about ready to scream -
take a deep breath and tell me about whatever it is through
the Contact page.
I don't SPAM (heck, I barely
have time to handle my normal email...) and besides, the
worst I can say is: No, you can't... But I'll make
you this promise: I'll do my level best to avoid that...
(and the opinion is free; the work? Well, that's
another matter...).
